 2017 Honda Fit
The 2017 Honda Fit includes nearly all of its safety features on all trim levels. The sole difference is the inclusion of dynamic guidelines on the multi-angle rearview camera. Most of the rest of what's here is the same as before. That means the same trims (LX, EX, and EX-L), all with the same engine and standard manual transmission (CVT available on lower trims, standard on EX-L). The EX-L trim also includes Sport Mode with a paddle shifter (optional with CVT on other trims).
2017 Honda Civic Hatchback
The Honda Civic got a redesign in 2016 that goes one step further with the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback. It's available in comes in LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Sport Touring trims. We especially like the Sport trim, which re-tunes the turbocharged engine for 180 horsepower. If you've always liked the Honda Civic coupe or Honda Civic sedan but lamented the lack of cargo space, you'll have yet another reason to like the hatch. With a maximum 46.2 cubic feet of cargo space, you'll have three times the cargo room!
Honorable Mention: Honda HR-V
The 2017 Honda HR-V isn't quite a hatchback, but this small crossover "fits" with the Honda Fit. They share similar styling, many of the same features, and even the same platform. The key difference between them is that the Honda HR-V is just slightly larger, and rides higher, than its more conventional cousin.
We understand that a hatchback won't be the right fit for everyone. Sometimes you just need something larger like a crossover.
