In a few weeks, the Super Bowl will probably become the most watched television event of 2017. While many enjoy watching football, a huge amount of people tune in to watch the Super Bowl commercials. Companies spend a lot of money to ensure that their ads are the most memorable or stand out from the rest, so they tend to be pretty spectacular and entertaining commercials. This year, Honda fans in the San Antonio, TX area will be pleased to learn that Honda will be featuring the 2017 Honda CR-V during Super Bowl LI!
At Gillman Honda San Antonio, we are quite excited to see what Honda dreams up for this year’s commercial. The Honda CR-V has made two previous appearances during the Super Bowl, including the 2012 favorite called “Matthew’s Day Off” that featured Matthew Broderick in a humorous tribute to his 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It makes total sense for Honda to feature the 2017 Honda CR-V because it has already earned rave reviews for its new styling, superior comfort and handling, and all-around versatility.
Honda Vice-President of Auto Marketing Susie Rossick was enthusiastic about featuring the 2017 Honda CR-V this year, stating "The Super Bowl is the appropriate stage to introduce America to the bold and sophisticated new Honda CR-V. With the largest audience and reach of any single television event, the Super Bowl is… the perfect place to celebrate the CR-V's 20th anniversary."
Super Bowl LI will kick off on February 5th, 2017, so you can expect to see the commercial air sometime during the big game.
