It’s hard to remember a time before we all had smartphones, when we had to look at maps for
directions, use an encyclopedia to research, and finger through a rolodex to find someone’s
phone number and address, but those times did exist. Today we often take for granted just how
much information we hold in the palms of our hands, until we get behind the wheel of a Honda car and suddenly no longer can access that information without pulling over and typing in whatever command we need answered by our phones.

Thanks to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, however, San Antonio, TX drivers no longer have
to pull over to use our smartphones’ infinite information while driving. By hooking these phones
up to our vehicles, we can use voice commands and the improved eight-inch touchscreen control
in the new 2017 Honda Pilot to access navigation, our contacts, our appointments, and our
reminders, all while keeping our eyes on the road. With Apple CarPlay, you even can access Siri,
which means all the things she can do for you on your phone, she also can do for you in your
vehicle.

"The all-new third-generation Pilot has been a huge hit with SUV buyers," said Jeff Conrad,
Honda Division senior vice president and general manager. "For 2017, we're making the Pilot
even more appealing with new technology and options that our customers are seeking."

More and more Honda models are receiving these infotainment operating systems, from the new
Honda Civic to the new Honda CR-V, and the 2017 Honda Pilot is the most recent to join the
fray. Soon, they all will have this tech feature, making lives easier for Gillman Honda San
Antonio customers forever more.
