When it comes to family automobiles, few automakers on the face of this planet can build a better one than Honda. It doesn’t take any sort of list or accolade to know that models like the 2015 Honda CR-V and 2015 Honda Odyssey are ideal for drivers with kids, but when one such list is released, like the U.S. News and World Report “2015 Best Cars for Families” with awards in the Best Compact SUV (Honda CR-V) and Best Minivan (Honda Odyssey) categories, it certainly does go a long way toward remind San Antonio consumers exactly what these autos are good for.
In fact, the entire Honda light-truck lineup were named winners in their respective segments this year, with the CR-V (Best Compact SUV) and Odyssey (Best Minivan) leading the charge.
That’s a pretty dominant showing, especially for the Odyssey, a model that has topped the minivan segment for the sixth consecutive year. These four models helped Honda top out the awards with four, the most of any automaker in the industry.
“Expanding the list of Honda vehicles awards as Best Cars for Families shows our continued dedication to developing vehicles that fit the needs of family buyers, and we continue to push the envelope to bring families more of what they want in terms of the leading safety performance, fuel economy, technology, and spacious packaging,” said Jeff Conrad, Honda division senior VP and general manager.
The 2016 Honda light trucks, available now here at Gillman Honda San Antonio are great in pretty much any context, but they’re especially excellent for families. That’s a big part of the thought process when developing these vehicles, and we’re so glad to see consumers (and publications) respond so positively to those efforts.
