While at this point in Honda history it seems fair to say that most of the models the automaker produces are pretty well-regarded in the industry as being well-equipped, efficient, and reliable, in all of our years here at Gillman Honda San Antonio, we personally haven’t encountered a model we love to praise and that gives us so much excitement as the completely-redesigned 2016 Honda Civic.

All that said, we were especially pleased to see the Honda Civic Touring pop up on the Wards “10 Best Interiors” list for the new model year.

There were a lot of things that Wards liked, but the first interior feature they pointed out in their write-up was the wide, black leather stripes that run down the centers of the front seats of the Touring trim, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, which gives the vehicle an immediately more lavish look. One of the judges even commented that it was “possibly the most pleasing steering-wheel leather ever.”

It is also incredibly roomy despite being the smaller midsize sedan in the Honda stable, and it is of course loaded to the brim with great technologies available across the different trim levels, including a touchscreen infotainment interface that works with different smartphone integration software. The blind spot monitoring system remains a nice feature, as does the “abundant headroom,” making the inside of this car every bit as nice as Wards says it is.

As your Honda dealership, we’d love to have you out for a test drive of any version of the 2016 Honda Civic, so if you’re interested, please stop by any time and we’ll be happy to get you set up for a trip behind the wheel of this incredible sedan!
