It seems like only yesterday that we first introduced the all-new 2016 Honda HR-V to our readers with promises that it would someday be made available to San Antonio consumers, but enough time has passed since that initial HR-V post that we here at Gillman Honda can finally let our customers know that the company has announced a May 15, 2015 ship date for the acclaimed and highly-anticipated new crossover vehicle.
For those that don't remember the initial post, allow us to refresh your memory on the new HR-V. Like the larger Honda CR-V, this vehicle is in fact a crossover, but it's smaller than its older sibling, giving it a whole host of benefits that drivers are going to love. Obviously a smaller car is going to be more maneuverable, and in fact that is a selling point for the HR-V, which Honda very often lauds for its “coupe-like styling.” Great fuel efficiency also comes with a smaller vehicle, though thanks to its hatchback and spacious interior, it also boasts a lot of the things we already love about the CR-V.
Naturally, there is a range of great technology inside the vehicle, including a rearview camera, Pandora radio interface, Bluetooth connectivity and, on higher trims, a really nice navigation system, but none of that is surprising for people that have been inside a Honda vehicle over the course of the last two or three years. They're all that well-equipped these days.
For those most interested in the HR-V, however, the good news is that it won't be long before it finally arrives at our facility, ready for test driving. The minute we get them, we'll be happy to sell them to you!
