Deciding on a family vehicle can be a very challenging undertaking, and while we here at Gillman Honda San Antonio would love to point consumers in the direction of the 2015 Honda Odyssey minivan, we also know that not every young family wants to go that route.
Thankfully, Parents magazine teams up Edmunds.com once a year to put together a list of the best family vehicles in the business, and we were very pleased this year to see that the 2015 Honda Accord, 2015 Honda CR-V and 2015 Honda Fit were all among those mentioned on the list.
Considering our last post, which preached the safety-based benefits of the new Accord, this obviously makes some measure of sense, but a spacious interior, huge trunk and great infotainment options also help the Honda Accord serve as one of the top midsize sedans in the industry for families.
The CR-V, meanwhile, is appropriate for families for all the same reasons that the Accord is, except as a crossover it boasts even more space for passengers and, perhaps more importantly, cargo. Like the Accord, it also is a Top Safety Pick+ thanks to great safety features that protect drivers and passengers from all sides.
Finally there's the Honda Fit, which made the list as a budget-conscious option. It may just be a subcompact hatchback, but in its segment it offers a ton of comfort, efficiency, safety and space, a great value for its price point.
Of course, there's always the 2015 Honda Odyssey, but for those that want something other than a minivan, the Accord, CR-V and Fit are probably where you'll want to start your search.
