In just about every way possible, the newly-redesigned 2015 Honda Fit has been an absolute joy for us to sell here at Gillman Honda San Antonio. It has been so wonderful to offer budget-conscious consumers a Honda car this affordable with so much to offer, and one of the things we've been able to really brag about recently are the safety features and ratings available in the new Fit.

For example, we recently got word back that the Fit was put through the ringer at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which resulted in glowing marks across the board. They were, in fact, good enough to earn the vehicle a Top Safety Pick designation, which means it's one of the safest vehicles on the road today.

Just earlier this month, however, the Fit got the same treatment from the NHTSA and performed similarly well, earning a 5-star overall rating, the best overall rating that the federal government awards.

"The Fit shows that owning a smaller car doesn't mean you need to skimp on space, comfort or crashworthiness," said Art St. Cyr, vice president of automotive operations for Honda USA. "Honda's commitment to the safety of our customers and other road users is second to none, and the Fit demonstrates this commitment in a powerful way."

While the Fit isn't the first Honda model to perform so well on safety tests, it is the most affordable Honda model to have done so to date. That's the sort of thing that should keep our customers excited, and when they're happy, so are we.
