If there's a word that consumers hate, it's "worry." Buying a vehicle should, for all intents and purposes, be a relatively care-free experience, not only at the dealership for the life of the automobile. We know that this isn’t always true, but Honda has always been an automaker that has prided itself on creating good cars that stand the test of time.

Knowing how consumers worry about purchasing new vehicles, however, Cars.com recently put together something they are calling the Worry-Free Index. It's a collection of pretty much all the relevant auto evaluation information available these days, from reliability scores provided by thousands of drivers to data collected from crash test organizations, as well as some of the most respected automotive evaluators in the industry. Essentially, they wanted as much good data on these vehicles as they could possibly get, with the end result being a fair and complete assessment of which cars on the market would cause their owners as little worry as possible.

Honda, obviously, has to be pleased that the 2014 Honda Civic was awarded one of the highest scores in the industry. It's not terribly surprising considering the pretty impeccable track record of one of the brand’s best-selling and best-reviewed models, but the justification of the Worry-Free Index will definitely help consumers sleep a little easier at night should this be the car they choose to purchase.

There never has been anything to worry about when it comes to the Honda Civic, but the 2014 model year version is better than ever, as the Cars.com Worry-Free Index helps prove.
