2018 Honda Fit: An Affordable Subcompact Car

We've seen our fair share of mid-generation redesigns at Gillman Honda San Antonio. We're pretty sure that we haven't seen one quite like the 2018 Honda Fit, and we'd wager that our New Braunfels and Schertz, TX customers haven't either. This year, the Honda Fit goes all-out, and we couldn't be happier.

2018 Honda Fit: New Look

Small changes make a car that already looked good look even better. The 2018 Honda Fit retains the spacious interior that makes it so popular, but adds a refreshed design. The exterior sports a restyled front and rear fascia that give the car a more aggressive look than before.

2018 Honda Fit: New Trim

The usual trim levels (LX, EX, and EX-L) are back, and they've got company. This year, there's a new Sport trim with some trim-exclusive features. These include front and side underbody spoilers, a rear diffuser with orange pinstriping, leather on the shift knob and steering wheel, and lots of eye-catching orange contrast stitching on the interior.

2018 Honda Fit: New Technology

Even as new Honda cars go, the Honda Fit is one safe car (see the sidebar for details). But there's more to recommend this sporty hatchback than its safety. With the exception of the base LX trim, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility come standard. The upper trims now also have a new 180-watt six-speaker audio system that's easy to control through the seven-inch touchscreen on the Display Audio system.

Our pick: the 2018 Honda Fit EX-L

The 2018 Honda Fit EX-L has an excellent standard feature set - including features not available to other trims. That's also true of some of the options available, including turn-by-turn directions you can view on the information display, Honda HD Digital Traffic / HD Radio™, and Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with Voice Recognition.
