Tips for Long Vehicle Battery Life

When your vehicle's battery is used in temperatures beyond what it was designed for, the greater its chances of failing whether by freezing cold or super hot conditions. Here, we want you to have the best information about the life of your vehicle's battery.

In the winter cold, one thing you can do is to ensure your battery is always charged. Weakened batteries begin to freeze at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, but a properly maintained battery won't start freezing at -76 degrees. If prior to winter, you can have your battery load tested and checked the electrolyte and the connections for corrosion, you'll be off to a great start.
